Led a team of two designers in redesigning a self-administered mobile experience ahead of a pilot study. Research showed the existing experience was too superficial and repetitive to sustain engagement, so I introduced more considered interaction patterns and personalisation while working closely with principal investigators and engineering to keep the experience both clinically appropriate and feasible to build.

Co-led UX for an engagement redesign aimed at helping children build a more consistent learning habit. Research and usability testing with students aged 6–16 informed new motivation, progress and reward mechanics, which were repeatedly tested and adjusted when we saw the incentives changing learning behaviour in unintended ways.

How I work
I tend to look beyond the interface first. When people hesitate, repeat steps or create workarounds, I want to understand the workflow, constraints and system behaviour underneath before deciding what should change.
I prefer decisions that can be explained, tested and carried through with engineering, rather than polished screens that solve only the visible part of the problem.

Using AI to express product logic, workflows and states as functioning interfaces, making complex ideas tangible and testable much earlier in product development.

Connecting tokens, components, interaction rules and accessibility standards into a governed system that keeps design and implementation coherent as products and teams scale.
